Finally a high note for 2011
The OMFC would like to congratulate two of our 2011 players for their selection in the recent Rookie Draft.
Sam Dunell, who also won the Club Best & Fairest in a stellar season, despite playing a number of games for Bendigo Bombers, was taken at Number 12 by St Kilda. No doubt list manager Ameet Bains, OMFC All Stars legend had a bit to say about Sam's ability. Well done Sam.
Tom Campbell, who had a restricted season with us due to injury and Bendigo duties, was also picked up, at number 27, by the Western Bulldogs. He will no doubt receive a very warm welcome from Archie Salek when he arrives at Whitten Oval.
Congratulations to both of the boys - we look forward to watching their careers with interest.
