The mighty thirds headed to Brindisi St for a must win game. St. Bedes had the bye last week, which worked in our favour. We started slowly kicking with the wind, also keeping the Tigers scoreless in the first quarter. By half time the game had opened up and OM's took a 10 goal lead in to the main break. The second half was much the same as the first. OM's dominating all positions in the one sided affair. Better players were, Jack Slade, Al Ferguson, Charlie Cumbrae-Stewart and Tom Healey. Heales and Ferg both kicked five goals. The backline did a great job holding St. Bedes to just four goals. OM's won by 105 points, a much needed percentage boost.
