Although we were beaten at the bell by Beaumaris the match was played at high intensity by both teams and the result could have gone either way.

With a number of boys rested and others promoted to the seniors we knew that this game was always going to be close against a contender in Beaumaris.

The boys worked extremely hard throughout the match and should be congratulated for there efforts. Notable efforts included Churkovic, Gooley, Oaten, Nestle, Hughes, Gobbo, Breen, Harris (capt), Plever (before coming off) and Sartori.

After the game it was clear the boys were extremely disappointed in losing this match after leading all day.

The loss has come at the right time for the OM’s and with an 8-1 result for the first half the boys  will look to right the wrong this weekend against Mazenod.
